Steve White    Writer, Artist and editor... oh, and he also colours books in his spare time too.

Dougie Braithwaite    Certified master in my books. Check out any of his Punisher work for Marvel.

D'Israeli    Matt Brooker, colourist, writer and artist. There appears to be no end to his talents.

Dan Abnett    Writer of Hypersonic and other books. Prolific!

John Tomlinson    Provided me with a great script for Lords of Misrule and still a favourite book.

Barry Kitson   A 200AD favourite and producing some great art for Empire and Weapon X. Check out the galleries for some great covers. New look to site.

Simon Fraser    Artist of Nikolai Dante. Currently living in France and producing some great artwork there.

Liam Sharp    Amazing talent from the old Marvel UK days. You MUST visit his site and check out the galleries!

Brit Comic Art    John Bamber and Jason Harris. Art dealers and all round good guys.

James Robinson    Writer of Starman and Firearm.

Steven Grant    Writer of Out For Blood and other tales.

Tony Harris    Artist of Starman and cool guy.

Garth Ennis    Writer of Hellblazer and Preacher amongst others.

METAPHROG    John Chalmers and Sandra Marrs Louis received several Eisner and Ignatz Award nominations.

Glenn Fabry Online    Artist. The best painter in the business? You decide. My vote is cast already.

Steve Pugh    Animal Man artist... quite brilliant. Seemingly effortless style and great characters. Hotwire is an unseen classic.

John McCrae    Artist of Hitman, Demon, Dicks and many, many more titles.

Alan Grant    Writer of Batman and Judge Dredd amongst many others. Also host of Moniaive Festival in Scotland. See for youself in September.

Forbidden Planet    Glasgow shop is a favourite and staff are helpful. Love the toys. Just ask for Kev.

Chester Comic Co.    Done a couple of signings down there and Stuart and Gareth really keep me right with their own recommended reading list.

Recommended reading

Start of with anything by Moebius, Otomo, Enki Bilal and most of the original 2000ad crew. Then move onto Bill Seinkiewicz, Frank Miller, Geof Darrow and David Lloyd...
